Mark

Mark was born in Houston, TX and moved to Orlando with his family in the late 80s. He graduated from Boone High School and obtained his bachelors degree from the University of Florida. Mark has stayed close to the retail industry working for several different establishments.
Woodworking started early for Mark. His dad helped him with his first project, a birdhouse for Cub Scouts. While the birds may not have enjoyed it very much, Mark did. After that, Mark increased his skills in woodworking by making other small projects such as bookcases and puzzles for his mother, a math teacher. Around 2001, Mark decided to focus on woodworking by studying and learning as much as possible. Since 2004, Mark has been working at Woodcraft in several capacities. He works on the floor assisting customers with their woodworking needs, in the shop on various projects, and sharing his love of woodworking as an instructor.

Jesse

Jesse is a retired college professor and avid woodworker. He still teaches part-time at UCF. He works with us here at Woodcraft because he enjoys the great interaction with fellow wood workers and turners. The dining table, bowls and shoji screens in the accompanying picture are some of Jesse's projects.
