Jim Minton
A retired computer programmer/trainer with a long history of building and home repairs. Started pounding nails and cutting wood when my dad was building/remodeling a three room house, with no water or electricity, into a great place for three kids and mom, when I was around 7 years old. That starting my life's interest in working with wood. Also digging foundations, wells, and out house pits.
Now all my woodworking is for fun, with a table saw, radial arm saw, router, drill press, and a recent purchase of a lathe. Also furniture repairs and refinishing hold some of my attention.
Looking forward to helping you with your questions and problems when you come to visit us.
Eric McCrystal
As Store Manager and Co-Owner of the new store in San Carlos, Eric's passion is serving the customer. After 15 years in the high tech world of security systems and the defense industry, Eric and his wife, Charmaine, decided it was time to try a new challenge. Combining his love of woodworking and running a new business, this is the perfect opportunity to start a new career.

We are now trying to bring our 8 year-old daughter, Gianna, and 6 year-old son, Sean, into the experience. If you hear them yelling in the store, please let me know. They are still trying to understand the concept of a retail business!!

Please come in and say 'Hello' and stay for a cup of coffee the next time you're in the neighborhood!
Tom Smith
Tom's interest in wood started at a very young age with input from both his Fathers and Grandfathers. His major interests in wood arts are turning, carving and finishing.

He is a Fine Arts and Design major. He loves to work in wood, precious and semi-precious metal and precious and semi-precious stones, in addition to working with glass. Tom has ten years in food service and catering. In addition, he has 15 years of color theory and design under his belt. Tom will try to help you with a color problem or give you a new way to look at a finishing dilemma. He has 10 years working as an arborist for some of his woodworking background. His knowledge spans tree types to how wood can change in the finished form. He always enjoys teaching and working with students as they can give him one more way to look at a design opportunity.
John Stockwell
John's been with Woodcraft for 6 years now. An accomplished woodworker, feel free to stop in and pick his brain. He's been around long enough to know a little about a lot, or a lot about a litte... Hmmmm...
