Bud Rhode
Bud has over 40 years of wood working experience. He has custom built and remodeled a house which was his largest and and first project. He extended his knowledge and skill in the 1990's by turning his attention to cabinetry and furniture making. As his experience and interest grew he moved on to bowl turning which has now become his favorite way to spend his time. His favorite wood is Mesquite and his wood super-hero is William Hunter.
Randy Castellini
It all started in an 8 X 10 shed during the sixth grade. That’s where owner and manager, Randy Castellini, began woodworking with a band saw, lathe, and numerous hand tools. At the time, it was simply called Randy’s Workshop and the projects were relatively simple. A few years later, Randy’s dad, Raymond, built a 50 X 30 workshop. The collection of power and hand tools grew as did Randy’s skill level. Along with woodworking, Randy and his dad also restored a 1931 Ford Coupe which Randy still owns today.

Randy follows a line of entrepreneurs – his immigrant grandfather owned grocery stores and his uncles and father owned and operated a glass and hardware business. Randy along with his wife, Sistine, have been involved in Tucson real estate for 15 years. At first, they started out investing in single family homes which eventually led them to become real estate agents and owning their own real estate brokerage company. Sistine continues to operate the real estate company.

The store has a perfect combination of ingredients that keeps Randy enthusiastic – the large selection of tools and sundries, the classroom which can host an endless variety of classes and demonstrations, and most importantly the customers. Randy has always been customer service oriented and looks forward to helping customers and learning from them.
Tom Bartolo
Tom has 50 years of woodworking experience. His very first project was a step stool he made with his dad (his first wood super-hero). His favorite project is one he is currently working on an Acoustic Guitar (he never told us if he actually plays the guitars he makes - that is probably a secret we may never know). He has told us that his favorite woods are Walnut and Rosewood and James Krenov is his other "wood super-hero."
Mark Frost
Mark received his first tool set at the age of 7 and promptly put nails in the entire back patio. Sometime later he was able to coax his dad to give him back that tool set and now has 40 years of woodworking experience behind him. His first project was a scooter and his largest project was an Armoire and Window seat. His favorite project was a sculptured cabinet and his favorite wood is Mahogany. His wood "super-hero" is his dad.
Chris Vemich
Chris has worked with wood for 25 + years. He is not easily intimidated so his largest project was a house and he has built more than one. His first project was a coffee table. He explained quite emphatically that his favorite project is the one he is currently working on. His favorite woods are too numerous to mention but he did say Maple Burl and Mesquite are right up there near the top. His wood super-hero is James Krenov.
