He has Degrees in the Fine arts(Ohio University) and Mechanical Engineering(University of Dayton). This gives him a sound technical and aesthetic approach to woodworking design and techniques. He enjoys all phases of woodworking from simple projects to complex furniture making. Gary's specialties are scroll sawing and wood turning which he has taught for 14 years. He has had his work published in Scroll Saw Magazine and won many awards at Artistry in Wood and The Ohio State Fair.
Gary Berling
Scroll Saw - Gary teaches "intarsia," the art of making wall mosaics out of wood that resemble puzzles with many different types of wood. It's fun and easy for students to begin their woodworking skills in this class.
