The SawStop Jobsite Saw unites SawStop safety, innovation, precision and compact portability. SawStop's Jobsite Saw is the new standard in jobsite safety. Now you can have the precision, quality and safety of a SawStop saw wherever the job takes you.

SawStop Safety: SawStop stops and drops the blade on contact with skin 10 times faster than a car airbag! This unit also features a bypass to the safety system to test for and/or cut conductive materials.
Innovation: SawStop has engineered ground-breaking elevation system raises or lowers the blade in just one turn of the handwheel. Tilting the blade has never been easier with the Quicktilt® feature. Simply compress the tilt paddle, and tilt the blade to the desired angle. When fine-tuning is required, you can adjust the angle in 1° increments with the infinitely-adjustable tilt mechanism.
Precision: Solid T-Style Fence with ErgoLock® slides easily and locks firmly with the push of the innovative ErgoLock® 25.5" rip capacity. This fence slides smoothly and locks firmly with the innovative ErgoLock®. The T-style design minimizes deflection to increase accuracy. The fence provides an extended support at the fence face when material support is needed. Simply extend the on demand shelf with a turn of a knob when needed and turn it back when done.

Comments about SawStop Jobsite Saw w/Cart & Fence :

I started woodworking with a kobalt table saw and soon found that it insufficient for making precision cuts. I bought the sawstop job site saw and immediately noticed that this saw was designed not just for safe contract job site use but for the hobbyist woodworker. I find the table smooth and true, the fence precise, adjustments to be smooth and the dust collection excellent. Yes its expensive, kind of heavy, a little louder than other job site saws. However, its the best saw you can buy if you don't have the real estate for full sized cabinet saw

Comments about SawStop Jobsite Saw w/Cart & Fence :

We bought this saw the second it became available because Saw Stops safety system is definitely worth the expense. The physical saw itself and cart are great however the accessories are where it falls short. The miter gauge is a plastic joke and the movement on the fence is jerky.

Comments about SawStop Jobsite Saw w/Cart & Fence :

I already have a really nice woodshop and an industrial Saw Stop with 3 HP motor. I am doing tons of work on my house and doing 2 staircases and have to make multiple rip cuts to get everything just right. My shop is out near my horse pasture so I was making multiple trips to just get one step done. I bought the Jobsite Saw Stop saw, as I am an amateur musician, in addition to being a physician and value all my fingers. This saw is fabulous. I hooked it to my Festool CT 36, and when I turn the saw on the Festool vac kicks on. There is still some dust at the blade but not bad for doing something inside my home, with furniture etc. When I am done with this Jobsite saw, I will give it to my son, to use in place of my original Craftsman that I gave him years ago. It does not replace my heavy duty Sawstop Industrial saw, but it is great for what it is intended for, plus the safety. As an ER doctor I have seen too many traumatic total or partial amputations from table saws, so when the Sawstop hit the market, I bought one. Now, only if Sawstop would get their act together and make a bandsaw with the same technology, and then I will ditch my Powermatic Bandsaw!!!
