The adjustment directions could be better for the less mechanically inclined, I saw no mention of the 3rd blade bearing, but easy enough to figure out! All in all you would pay double for this quality. Also a little spray lube to the bearings does quiet it down beyond expectations

Although I haven't spent much time with the deluxe versions of bandsaws, I did spend a decent amount of time shopping for a mid-range like this. Man, now I get why some folks in woodworking forums praise their bandsaws... this thing is a useful, powerful, quite, stable and FUN tool! No vibrations, no racket, just smooth operation as you expect. If you're looking for a starter or upgrade from a smaller model, then pull the trigger on this, you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Rikon 14" Open Stand 1 HP Bandsaw Model 10-321 :

I have almost a year of use with this saw and still very pleased with the results. I use Olson "All Pro" blades and they cut like butter for anything I have ran through this saw. The dust collection is decent with my 2.5" Oneida cyclone and Fein vac. Blade changing is good once you remove the fence rail from table. Guides are good for being a Carter clone. The lower one is a pain to adjust, as with most saws, and the mounting stud design is poor. The stud comes loose. It requires you to use 2, 10mm wrenches when tightening the nuts. The only con I have is the mobile base attachment. It works well if your casters are good from the beginning. Make sure you check out the casters in the base kit. The swivel ones on mine didn`t last and were of poor quality from the get go. Nick at the Spokane Valley store made things right even though it was not a Woodcraft problem. Great store and staff.

What? I can't hear your over the noise of the blade rubbing against the guides. No matter how much I adjust it, it is still louder than any other bandsaw I've used. The set up was simple, the supplied blade is ok but dulls quickly because the teeth rub against the guides. (Notice a trend?) The blade is an odd length which makes it tough to find various sizes. Woodcraft only carries 2 different sizes. I primarily use the saw to cut bowl blanks for turning. If I were going to do anything else, I would have returned 7t right away.

Looking for a new bandsaw for quite a while with a 6'' cutting height. Finally decided on the rikon 10-321 with the 8'' cut height. I have no problems resawing logs or lumber with it. I would recomend getting a better blade for it if thats your main use, but the blade that comes with it is fine for regular use. There was no hesitation even when cutting at 8''. The table on it is just as big and heavy as the bigger models. Very easy to set up and adjust. A great saw at a good price with the Rikon name behind it.

Have been a cabinet maker for 45 year so I have seen a lot of band saws in my time. This saw is an absolute gem. There are enough adjustments on it to make it square every direction. The only fault I could find is the bolts that hold the saw to the base should have been 5/16 X 2 instead of 1/4 X 1 1/2. They were too short for me so I did replace them. Love the saw

Comments about Rikon 14" Open Stand 1 HP Bandsaw Model 10-321 :

First of all, let me highly recommend the Delaware store. I drove an hour and a half each way and they were very helpful, and very friendly. I will be back. Now about the saw. I am impressed. The first thing I took out of the box was the stand. it is a heavier gage metal than many, and it has a really nice crinkle finish. It was very easy to put together. Next we put the saw on the base. What a great saw. Very quiet and smooth running, it came already assembled except for the table and some knobs. The cast iron table is larger than the table on other brands, and the finish of the cast iron was very smooth. I added the rip fence, and I recommend that you buy this accessory. It does keep the table flat. Next I set up the table for square and set the blade guides. The adjustments are very easy to make on this saw. I looked at Grizzly and Jet saws as well, and I am glad I bought the Rikon. It is without a doubt the best built bandsaw in its class.
