Comments about Ceros 6" Compact Electronic Random Orbital Sander - DC Motor :

Like several other reviewers, I have a drawer of old worn out palm sanders. This has got to be the premier palm sander. It's light, almost no vibration and works effortlessly, while doing an excellent job of sanding. I can already see a need for a second one in the shop!

Comments about Ceros 6" Compact Electronic Random Orbital Sander - DC Motor :

What a great tool- well worth the money. Low profile to get into tight spots. One finger control. Easy to change speeds with wide control. Great on-off control with paddle. Power off switch- good, but don't forget to turn it off when you are changing grits because it will catch you by surprise when you accidentally push the paddle. Raleigh Woodcraft store gave awesome demo- love that place!!

Comments about Ceros 6" Compact Electronic Random Orbital Sander - DC Motor :

There are alot of good random orbit sanders and i have owned and overused all of them. This one cannot be confused with any other single-handed sander.you can stand on it and not slow it down. This machine is only one small step below my f. rotex and when the new ceros with the larger cut radius comes out it will probably replace it.If you have to do alot of sanding rough and fine, break down, spend the money and buy it.

Comments about Ceros 6" Compact Electronic Random Orbital Sander - DC Motor :

Furniture and cabinet builder, and this is the best ROS, period! It is even quieter than the Festool CT36 Dust Collector I have hooked to it. And buy the AUTONET paper, its MUCH CHEAPER than the ABRANET. And its exactly the same thing. Go to Mirka website and open 2 windows to compare paper side by side. The only difference is The ABRANET is grey/white, while the AUTONET is just grey. Remember to buy some velcro wraps for securing your cord to the dust collector hose.

Comments about Ceros 6" Compact Electronic Random Orbital Sander - DC Motor :

The sander is quite possibly the nicest sander I have ever used! Before i purchased this sander, I ran this next to a ETS 150 from Festool. My observations: 1) The Mirka Sander was about ¼ of the weight of the Festool 2) The Mirka Sander was more powerful and removed much more material than the ETS 150 3) The Mirka Sander was easily controlled with one hand. 4) Dust collection was about the same on both models. Bottom line: If you want the best sander on the market - the Ceros is the way to go!!!!
