Product Information:

Rob Cosman has been woodworking for most of his life. While earning a B.Sc. in Industrial Technology/Furniture Design at Brigham Young University, he was Dr. Dale L. Nish's teaching assistant. Rob has also worked with many of the world's best craftsmen – including Alan Peters, Sam Maloof, Tage Frid, Monroe Robinson and Peter Korn. This 2 hour and 7 minute DVD features tools of the trade; hand sharpening a tenon saw; sharpening a mortise chisel from bench grinder to waterstone; stock preparation and layout of the mortise and tenons; chopping, sawing and fitting the mortise and tenon; laying out the strong and decorative through wedged tenon; and chopping, sawing and fitting the through wedged tenon.

    Superb explanation and demonstration! Best I've seen. Clear, complete and concise explanation of the whole process: Tools, sharpening, material, use and construction. After watching this DVD it may be a long process to be able to work like this but you'll have a clear idea of how it should be done.
