Yooper Karl's brother
Mylands Clear Wax
I apply this product after three coats of varnish/tung oil/turpentine mixture. I apply a small amount with a rag then I use steel wool to sand out the final finish. Then I polish with a clean rag. I find this to be far superior to the minwax product. Apply sparingly. If you apply additional coats of wax the finish just gets better. This wax gives a high luster and a kind of three dimensional appearance to fine wood. Highly recommended.

This is a Woodturners Must Have
I use Mylandis for finishing my small to medium size projects on the lathe. I Sand to 800 Grit, apply generously , and then buff. The shine is consistent and deep.
Excellent on walnut
Michigan's Upper Peninsula
Used to finish a small abstract walnut carving. Wonderfully enhanced the grain and range of colors in the wood. Hard, semi-gloss finish, applied a number of times, using a small amount each time. Rub a little in, sit a couple minutes to let the solvent evaporate, buff it out.Helps to have a window open; solvent odor is strong. Wait a day for the finish to completely harden. Repeat until it stops improving the look / I applied ~ 8 coats. Couldn't be happier w/ the results.
