I have a cordless milwaukee cordless jig saw. I had a hard time seeing the blade also.I know your not suppose to, but the only way to get a good view of the blade is to take the guard off.

Comments about Festool TRION PS 300 EQ Jigsaw T-Loc :

This jigsaw has a solid build and feel. You can tell this is a well made machine. The zero clearance blade inserts make for a nice cut without tear out. Like all Festools, the dust collection is better than just about any other tool in it's class. Not as good dust collection as say a TS 55, but really good compared to my previous Bosch jigsaw. The big downside is the view of the blade. With the guards/dust collection pieces in place, there is very little view of the blade. Also compounding this is the bandsaw like blade guides. They keep this saw cutting very precise cuts, but at the expense of visibility.
