Product Information:

The TS 75 EQ features an 8-1/4" blade (30mm arbor) with a 13 amp, 120V motor that can be adjusted from 1,350-3,550 RPM. Festool products can only be sold in the 50 statesFestool’s TS 75 EQ keeps all the great features of its predecessor and adds new features that make the plunge saw more convenient, more capable, and more user-friendly. A new, larger Thumb Interlock makes it easier to switch on the power and pivot the blade down for cutting, while a new Blade Lock disconnects the power switch and locks the blade down in position for removal. Plunge cuts in the middle of a workpiece are easier than ever, since the riving knife is now spring-loaded and automatically retracts when plunging. When used with the Festool Guide rail system, or Track Saw System, the TS 75 is ideal for installation of laminate flooring systems and allows cutting just 3/8" off a wall. Crosscutting veneered materials with most circular saws leaves a splintered mess. Festool’s new sacrificial Splinter Guard rests on the workpiece directly above the cut, providing “zero clearance” support at the blade for the top veneer, resulting in clean, chip-free cuts in melamine, veneered plywood, and even high-pressure laminates. The suggested 75" guide rail allows for fast precise cuts with little or no setup time, since the edge guide automatically aligns to the cutline. Electronic variable-speed control automatically maintains a constant blade speed under load, and the soft start and automatic idle cut down on operator fatigue and noise. The Festool TS 75 EQ uses an 8-1/4" diameter blade, but still provides a 2-3/4" cut at 90° and a 2-1/8" cut at 45°. Festool TS 75 EQ includes a T-LOC Systainer SYS 5 storage box, 36-tooth carbide tipped blade, 75" guide rail, limit stop, and chip deflector.

Comments about Festool Model TS 75 EQ Plunge Cut Saw with T-LOC and Rail :

I had the 55 req and traded it in for the 75 from the recall. The first thing I notice is this saw is somewhat bigger though it's not as heavy as it appears. Though this saw is bigger it has a lot more power and cutting is effortless in hardwoods such as oak and walnut. I was very fortunate that I did not have to adjust the saw to the pre cut splinter guard on my track, it was a perfect fit .The 75 is a little more expensive but worth it in the long run.

Comments about Festool Model TS 75 EQ Plunge Cut Saw with T-LOC and Rail :

I'm the owner of a cabinet shop that specializes in modern furniture and cabinetry. We have both the TS55 and the TS75. The saws are integrated into every project we do. We use table saws constantly, but having the ability to bring the cutting blade to the work piece is an invaluable asset. Before we begin cutting up any project, we calculate the areas where will use the Festool plunge saws. The TS 55 is light weight and easy to maneuver. We use it on veneered panels for cross cutting panels or cutting large panels to manageable sizes. The TS 75, though bulkier, has a cutting depth of 3 inches and a motor that can handle thick pieces of dense hardwoods. The saws are also and installer's best friend. We use them in every aspect of cabinet installation from fitting counter top joints to scribing. The dust collection is like no other circular saw I have ever used and reduces the installer's footprint as well as protecting their lungs from dust exposure. Though not every Festool machine is worth the extra money, the plunge saws, or as we call them "straight-line" saws, will pay for themselves after the first project. In case you're looking to invest in Festool, I would recommend the following tools: ETS 150/5 random orbital sander Domino Machine All the screw guns. The vacuums Not worth the money: Jigsaws Power planer Sliding chop saw We've used Festool for 8 years and know what we like. I hope you find this helpful.

Comments about Festool Model TS 75 EQ Plunge Cut Saw with T-LOC and Rail :

Plenty of on-line videos to show how to use the saw and build something with it. Showing someone actually building a project all the way through such as Ron Paulk portable work bench. Not only did I purchase the TS 75, but I also purchased the CT 36 E, PCS 420 EBQ, and the ETS 150/3 EQ sander. I like the FOG, site. These tools I will use, not place them on the shelf or in a drawer as I have done with all the stuff I was sold at the woodworking shows......................... TNX David

This saw is worth the asking price. Purchase the dust collector system as well and it will produce an effortless, minimal dust, and burn free cut. This saw is nothing short of amazing.
