Product Information:

AFD plans are CAD generated and printed on 36x48 sheets with most of the hard pieces shown full size. In addition, there is a complete instruction booklet that walks the builder through the entire project.

The Curley Maple Rocker features a striking design. You'll build the sides of the rocker and assemble them with mortise and tenon joinery. Then rout and shape the sides. If you like working with a router, you will really enjoy building this rocking chair. After setting up the jig for the slats and routing, it is amazing how quickly the rocker goes together.

Comments about Woodworking Project Paper Plan to Build Curley Maple Rocking Chair, AFD120 :

The plans were printed to the wrong scale. The slat template profile does not match the back and seat profile. The pictures quality is terrible. The general instructions should be written with greater detail and better explanations. I contacted the company and explained the problem. I called back a few days later and was told there was a printing error. I never received a corrected set of plans. This problem is not miner. The plan company did not seem to care about customer satisfaction. It never once followed up.

Comments about Woodworking Project Paper Plan to Build Curley Maple Rocking Chair, AFD120 :

The best plans give board feet needed show the most economical cuting plan. The best plans have example drawings, (a picture is worth a thousand words). The best plans are all about "how to". This plan is on poor quality paper and has only one photo of the chair. These instructions are in sentence and is hard to follow. I really want to build this chair without calling a help line many times. Beautiful chair and the design is fantastic.
