Product Information:

5" Dual Mode Sander has a 9/64" stroke for intermediate sanding and fast stock removal. 4.2 Amps, 300-600 rpm rotary motion speed, 3,000-6,000 opm eccentric motion speed, 4.4 lb. Festool products can only be sold in the 50 states.

Festool’s 5" dual mode sander has all the performance features of the legendary Rotex 6" sander, but in a slightly smaller, more compact package! The first thing you’ll notice is the comfortable handle, “thumb-ready” on-off switch, rubberized off-hand grip, and provision for right or left hand use (important when working in awkward positions). Connect this new dual mode sander to an optional Festool dust extractor for nearly 100% capture of all tool-generated particulates. Two orbit modes allow for rapid stock removal using aggressive abrasives, or superfine swirl-free finish sanding and polishing.

No tools are required to change from the standard soft pad for coarse or fine sanding on curved or flat surfaces to the optional hard pad for coarse sanding and edge work, or to the super soft pad for contoured surfaces. 4.2 Amps, 300-600 RPM rotary motion speed, 3000-6000 OPM eccentric motion speed. Includes: RO 125 Sander, hook and loop pad, Abrasive Sample Pack, Edge Protector, and a T-LOC Systainer #2 Storage Container.

The new CT36 incorporates increased capacity, innovation and versatility into this new design. With the dual mode power activation, the user chooses either a tool activated or manual activated start-up. This CT (Cleantec®) unit is extremely mobile, with a sturdy chassis, extra large low abrasion rear tires, and double swivel casters up front to easily negotiate any obstacle. The CT36 dust extractor can be secured in place with a single point foot brake. The filter bags have even been redesigned to be self cleaning. These bags inflate and deflate with the cycling of the unit for maximum suction force and efficiency. An integrated hose garage has been added for easy hose storage. As with all Festool dust extractors, the CT36 utilizes the Sys-Dock system that facilitates the use/storage of one or more Systainers to the top of the unit.. Will work wet or dry with no complex conversion, and is remarkably quiet. Includes: CT 36 E – 9.5 Gallon HEPA Mobile Dust Extractor, HEPA Filter, (1) Fitted Filter Bag, and (1) 1 1/16" x 11.5' Antistatic Suction Hose.
