Product Information:

1/4" self-centering boring bit with 3/8" guide bushing works with both WoodRiver shelf pin jigs to produce crisp holes with little tear-out.

Designed for use with WoodRiver Shelf Pin Jigs. These jigs are so simple to use yet they are very accurate. Drill shelf pin holes for adjustable shelving in cabinets, bookshelves or AV furniture. These Shelf pin bits are sold separately. 1/4" and 5mm shelf pin bits can be used with either jig

3/8" guide holes align most self-centering boring bits

Standard jig has 1" spacing and can be offset 1-1/2" or 2-1/2" from edge

Metric jig has 32mm spacing and can be offset 37mm or 50mm

Includes special pin to index the jig for longer length projects

Shelf pin bits produce crisp holes with little tear-out

The replacement did the same midway through a project. I ordered another one to finish up, but there already signs of a repeat failure. I'm not drilling thousands of holes at a fast rate. Maybe one to two hundred every now and then. Most small bookcases easily have that many. I have looked at other units but they look like they are all made by the same company. Hopefully this third one will hold up a little longer. There are three holes in the guide and the legs between them seem weak. Woodcraft replaced it immediately and all has been well, so far, with the new one.
