Milescraft Hinge Mortise Kit
I bought this about 2 months ago and other than having to lose one door figuring the instuctions it has done what it says. I average a house a month and generally have to replace all interior doors so this is big on saving time..kudos but more clear instructions.

Does what its intended for
I purchased the Mortise jig a few weeks ago and finally got to try it. It does what it says and everything is provided. My only gripes are more clear instructions and sturdier material. Other than than it beat chiseling..
Takes practice to use
This jig is a bit difficult to use. Perhaps if after doing 20 doors I would get the knack for it. The difficulty comes when after lining up the jig you have to nail in small finishing nails to secure the jig. Think about this - you have to hold the tape measure, align the jig to it or mark a line and eyeball it, then grab the hammer and nail, nail it in without it moving. Its all a bit tricky. The kit comes with 2 nails - don't use them - on a test board one of them snapped off in the piece of wood when trying to remove it - luckily for me it was a test board and not the door I needed to hang. You have to nail the nails all the way in to stop the jig from wobbling - however, it still moves a bit while using the router. Use this jig with caution. I got my mortises done, however, but I feel I got a bit lucky. The finished mortise comes out about 1/16 larger than the hinges. Not sure if it suppose to be that way but it seems it would be better if it were a tight fit. I had to decide which way to slide the hinges for evenness before pilot holing. On a good note the pack comes with all the jig inserts you would probably ever need for any type door and hinge. [...] The router bit seems to be of pretty good quality and the bushing is already installed.

Got this to help with reversing a basement door and a few other minor projects, very handy, I like that everything you need is in one kit (many others you have to buy the bit and guide bushing seperately, this has the bit and you don't need a bushing at all). Its nothing fancy, pretty straigtforward to use, and gets the job done very well.
