I have made about a dozen of these for customers. For my personal use I did not care for the weight and feel of the pen, but the cartridge writes smoothly. I take great care in lining up the grain on my pens and with this product it can be very hard accomplish. Care must to taken to not strip the plastic threads during assembly. Also be sure to check for the plastic shavings created when pressing the inserts into the pen tubes. I trim them with a razor blade when I still have enough clearance to do theat before the final press into the body. Would really prefer to have metal threads with the bands fixed in place for a higher quality product that was more predictable to assemble.

This product is necely styled and a smooth writer. The feel is different but not uncomfortable.
