I found this unit not that easy to use. For the desired angle to be set one needs quite a bit of force to tighten the locking knob which tends to move the set angle off [@]

Using it to set by radial arm saw. Could set compound miters (11 deg x 1 deg) very accurately. Only complaint is the poor locking - its more of an increase in friction than actual locking.

WHEN YOU TRY TO LOCK YOUR SETTING IT DOES NOT LOCK. ANY LITTLE BUMP WILL MOVE THE ANGLE.

This is definately another great digital tool from Wixey. My only complaint is that there is no way to lock it in place when taking a measurement. If need be, it would make it easier to transfer the angle to a piece of wood, a bevel gauge, or some tool.

I use this tool to calibrate the blades on my table saw and my miter saw. It works great. The readings are perfect every time and every cut is true. Excellent tool. Well worth having in your tool box. The uses are limitless.

First one DOA out of the box. Woodcraft replaced, no hassle. New one works just fine. Exactly as advertised.

I have been watching this item for quite a while now but it was a little out of my price justification. I already have a Wixey Digital Angle Gauge and love it. The only issue I had with it is the battery. (I have now gotten over it!) So I watched and when the Angle Cube using the 9 Volt battery came on sale for [$] each I jumped at it and actually bought two. (From Another Vendor.) Once I got them I compared them to the Wixey Angle Gauge. The Wixey and my quality Square were in agreement to the angles and the angle cube was .4 Deg off. That is a big deal when trying to miter! So I returned the angle cubes and stuck with my Wixey. When the Wixey Digital Protractor went on sale during Christmas I was very confident on the quality of the product I would get. I have had it a couple of months and used it twice so far. It put a smile on my face both times. I am confident that I will get many years of good use from both of the Wixey products I have purchased. Instructions for filling out this review say that if it was a gift I should disclose it in my comments. OK OK it was a Christmas Gift - to Myself. :)
