WoodrRiver 220 volt Remote Switch
WoodRiver 220-Volt Dust Collector Remote Control Switch
Great product! No instructions included, but pretty simple to hook up. Got tired of always having to go over to the collector to switch it on/off. Using a Grizzly G1029/2HP collector. Excellent!!
Silly not to have this!

I just received this remote switch and I can not believe that I waited 13 years to pick one of these things up! I don't even want to know how much accumulated time I have wasted by walking over to turn my dust collector on and off.

I have a 20 by 40 shop with this remote installed on the other side of a wall. It works every time, regardless where I am in the shop. The only down side is that the mounts for attaching to the wall are a little hokey. However, a very minor issue.
Using the remote to start my dust collecter makes things 100% easier.
Great for remotely starting/stopping my dust collection when using my saw, jointer, planar, sander, vacuuming the shop floor, etc. Depending on shop layout, a second remote switch is desirable. Unfortunately, there's no documentation about programming the second switch.
The remote controller has been great.

Because I am now more likely to turn off the dust collecter when I am not using it I save electricity. The dust collecter is about 30 feet from my heaviest dust and shaving producers so now I will be able to use it instead of thinking it would be easier to go ahead and make a little mess and clean it up later.
I use this to turn on my 3 hp dust collector. It works quite well. I do find that I need to systematically open the right blast gate, close the others, and turn on the dust collector before turning on the machine. I must admit that I do not always get this right. Now I see the merits of wiring the blast gate to the dust collector. The remote control has a clip that I put on my shirt button, so it is quite handy. I cannot now imagine walking to the dust collector each time to turn it on. This is a fine device.
A Real Timesaver
I have a central vac system hooked to each of the seven major tools in the workshop. This really saves time.
Remote 220 connect - the best
Setting up the unit was very simple and easy to do.
Works exactly as advertised
I had some reservations because my dust collection system is on the other side of a wall from my large shop. However, it works every time, no mater where I am in the shop.
