Buy Lumber Rack Strap 55 at Woodcraft

Product Information:

This high load capacity system can be used to store lumber. The 55" straps are formed from 3/16" thick steel and coated with a rust protective coating. Straps have "keyed" adjustment holes, spaced 1-1/2" apart, to lock the brackets into the straps. The straps should be anchored to the wall with heavy lag type bolts or expansion studs in concrete. The straps should also contact the floor or a spacer to transfer the weight of the rack from the wall to the floor. Straps should be placed no farther than 36" apart to properly support the weight of the lumber.

Absolutely fantastic wood storage system for my garage. I needed more storage for some new hardwood pieces. I thought I would be safe with the same product. This cheapened version that the company is now producing is second rate. The straps that mount to the wall used to have pre-drilled holes for the mounting bolts. The brackets have no finish and are rough enough to scratch up your wood when you stack it, and for that matter your hands while you are mounting them. Still I have not found anything better that I like, but for the price paid on this system I am thoroughly disappointed.
