For Old Style Sears saws using round guides

Cool Blocks will save your expensive blades from overheating. Made from a specially formulated graphite impregnated phenolic laminate. Cool Blocks are self-lubricating, enabling them to withstand the heat generated by blades running at high speeds. You'll eliminate the blade damage that occurs when teeth contact the metal blocks. Best of all, Cool Blocks can be set to completely enclose narrow scrolling blades, protecting their teeth and set. 4 blocks per pack to fit upper and lower guides.

The cool block saw assembly is slightly smaller than the round cool blocks, so...I drilled the aluminum assembly hole to .250, still too tight...used an E or F letter bit and it fit perfectly. After adjusting the blocks and the bearing stops , the performance was extremely pleasing. My old craftsman is cutting better that it has in a couple of years. Smooth, silent and true. Can't believe I waited so long to upgrade.
