Product Information:

Quick Disconnect Fittings let you move the hose connected to your portable dust collector from one machine to another without having to mess with hose clamps or similar fixing devices. Allows the use of one branch of your system on multiple machines without loosening and tightening hose clamps. Attach a quick disconnect fitting to the end of your dust collector's 4" hose and it provides an airtight friction fit on 4" O.D. fittings like machine ports, dust hoods, blast gates, etc..

Because of the danger of static electricity involved with dust collection we highly recommend reading the book Dust Control Made Simple #847090 prior to any dust collection system installation.

Quick Disconnect fitting eliminates need to use hose clamps

Tapered 4'' I.D. opening for friction fit on most 4" O.D. ports

Reverse-threaded port twists inside most 4” dust collection hose

Flanged middle section for ease of assembly

Dust Collection Fitting : it was a little hard to atach to the hose, but with a little dish soap it went on. my only problem is that it dosent stay on the port. I have to use bailing wire to keep it connected to my power tools. I may try sanding at least one to see if it will go in the port a little farther and hold on its own. Dust Collection Fitting : The end that goes over a 4" hard pipe is tapered, and only slides onto the pipe about 1/2". And because it's tapered, it's not a good fit, and wants to come loose. I had to tape it to the pipe to get it to stay.
