This well made and fairly priced tool with proper care should last many years. Good steel well made. A pleasure to use. I wish that WOODCRAFT would only carry tools of this quality or better.

I have only used this saw for a month or so but it does exactly what I bought it for. It makes very smooth, precise cuts. I added no cons because they were obvious when I bought the saw. It will be difficult to sharpen when the time comes and a saw of this size has limited uses. I certainly intend to buy the Lynx 26" crosscut saw and possibly a mortising saw as well.

With thin blade, I use this saw all the time when I need to crosscut small part, thin stock and very delicate trims. It also performs well for cutting joinery.
