I have been a woodworker for over 20 years and have always used the same brand blades that my Grandfather, who was a woodworker as well used. until I found myself in a pinch when I took these blades to a new sharpener and they were destroyed as he ground all the carbide off them rendering them useless. So I need some new blades right away and went to the local Woodworking supply store and picked up a Woodworker II blade. I was very impressed by how blade riped through tiger maple for our Queen Anne Highboy like nothing first day over 150 bd. ft. of 4/4 maple. It has since cut many more hundred bd. ft. of lumber and is still sharp. It leaves a mirror finish during cross cutting. The one we got has only a .001 run out and is in our opinion a blade for serious woodworkers I will be using Forrest products from now on. Bubbadovetail MI.

I bought this #1 grind blade becuase it leaves a cut that is flat on the bottom. I use only Forrest blades and this one is up to their usual high standards. The only minor problem with this blade is that it leaves a slight edge roughness on the bottom of the cut.

A very specialized blade, but when you need a flat bottomed groove 1/8" wide, it can't be beat.

I cut a lot of domestic and exotic hardwoods and this blade flys through it.
