Comments about Bora 7-1/2" Square, Beechwood :

After I wrote my previous review on the Bora square, I was contacted by the folks at Woodcraft. They were concerned that I was not happy with my purchase, and wanted to make it right. Now, I had had the square I bought for several months before finding it was inaccurate (hadn't had a chance to use it), and the sales slip was long gone. So, I figured returning it was out of the question. I was so wrong! Tara and Glenda at Woodcraft customer service not only made sure I got a new square, but made sure it was checked for accuracy before shipping it to me. Wow! I realize that with every tool line it's possible to get a less than perfect one, but for a company to stand behind their products like this? I am sold. I'm a Woodcraft fan for life. Now, to the new square, which I just recieved. I took it right out to the shop, found the board I had line tested the last one with, and ran a new line next to the old. HUGE difference. The new square was just that, square. I checked it with a draftsmans 45 deqree template, spot on. I now feel confident grabbing my new Bora for any project. Thanks Woodcraft, I'm a believer for sure. p.s., with any square, if you can, do a quick line check to make sure it's spot on.
