Product Information:

Diamond Willow is one of Mother Nature’s true gems. It typically grows in northern climates, and ours comes from Minnesota. The diamond refers to willow which has been deformed while growing. At spots where branches begin to grow, a depression or diamond is formed. The wood is white with reddish-brown diamonds. Make a great walking stick by carving or just sanding and finishing.

Comments about Diamond Willow Walking Stick 1pc :

I purchased four sticks four making canes. I was able to use only one. Two of the sticks had no characteristics of diamond willow which is actually a disease that gives the wood the diamond and red hue qualities. These were only suited for the fireplace. What a JOKE

looking to try new material for making walking sticks. Usually used exotic lumber that I have to shave down before carving. This will mean I can spend more time carving and less shaving. I bought this myself

Comments about Diamond Willow Walking Stick 1pc :

ancestors had 2 canes from "diamond willow" that were well figured (many little diamonds) and beautiful keepsakes from Nebraska, I did not inherit one of them, so ordered this one. Only 2-3 of the characteristic little diamonds, and two very large flaws from larger limbs. Combined made it totally unusable for a show off cane.

Comments about Diamond Willow Walking Stick 1pc :

Was a little disappointed in the 2 willow sticks I purchased. One is to small in diameter to really use as a walking stick and the other has a very large rotten spot about halfway down. Neither will be able to be used the way I had hoped.
