Made from cypress, the assembly weighs a modest 10 pounds, making it ideal for folding and toting from place to place. The secret behind its construction lies in the sturdy connecting nuts and bolts and their precise locations on facing parts. Building shouldn’t take more than a day. Comments about Fast & Easy Sling Chair - Downloadable Plan :

I purchased this plan with the understanding it was a complete plan. I then realized the pattern for the arm bracketts was missing when I downloaded and printed it. it may come with the pattern if you order by mail, but, I had to go online to find it then take it to staples to have it blown up and printed. It is a good design and fairly easy to contains the necessary part dimensions and hole placements. the plan does not have very clear dimensions for where the dados are cut but after staring at it and doing some calculations i got it figured out. I would also suggest better instructions for sewing the sling. It makes no mention of doubling the fabric thickness or hemming the edges to avoid fraying. this may be common knowledge to any seamstress but I thought it odd the plan does not suggest it.
