Product Information:

Deulen’s PSA Abrasive Paper is cut and sized to provide the optimum length for the Deulen 12" Jig. That means if you using the Deulen 6" Jig, you’ll have plenty of abrasives. There are six strips in each package: P120, P150, P180, P220, P320 and finally, P400. Deulin recommends a 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 18" piece of plate glass for your sharpening station. Adhere the 120-, 150- and 180-grit strips to one side and the 220-, 320- and 400-grit strips to the other. That’s all. It’s a really simple, effective system for sharpening jointer and planer blades.

    Comments about Deulen 2-3/4" x 18" PSA Abrasives :

I bought this for use with the planer jig. The stripps would be a little better is they were wider for my blades. I found that the paper wore out pretty quickly and I then resorted to using normal sandpaper which I just set on top of this product. This product helps keep the normal sand paper form moving so it is all good. The other thing I think could be improved is that 400 grit is not quite high enough for my tastes. I worked up to 2000 grit and got great results. I think 600 would be best for most people. I would recommend this product the first time using the jig, but I think I would later use other paper so I can get to a higher grit.
