My New Favorite Pen

The Rinehart Rollerball Pen Kit - Gold
I have always liked the Navigator and Sedona pens as they are lightweight, feel good in my hand, and have the look of an executive-style pen. The Rinehart now joins that group, and will likely be the pen I carry with me everyday to work.
The Rinehart, with its six-faceted design on the major pen components, uses the same bushings and brass tubes as the Navigator and Sedona, but gives it an entirely unique look from its predecessors. To me, this is a great feature, as I already had these bushings and tubes. I didn't have to purchase and entire new set-up as is often the case when a new pen hits the market.
I found the pen easy to assemble, and the directions were clear and understandable. I did note that the assembly photo appears to have the center trim ring (I) and the top finial (M) reversed. I initially picked up the longer of the two thinking it was the top finial, as indicated by the photo, only to realize the top finial was the shorter of these two almost look-alike parts.
Although it isn't mentioned in the assembly directions, for best appearance the components featuring the six-faceted design (top and lower finals, center band, and nib holder) should be oriented to each other when pressing these parts into the tubes. This little extra bit of care during assembly will give your pen a much more professional appearance when completed.
