Comments about Fits-All Desktop Organizer - Downloadable Plan :

First plans I've ever bought, and a disappointment. I've been designing and building much more complicated projects than this for many decades. I was hoping that the plans would have saved me the trouble of doing what I usually do, make my own sketch and figure up the needed materials and dimensions based on the picture. In this instance, I would have been better off. The design is good. The drawings are not as I would have prefered, to include a 3 view; or more dimensions of the individual components. The plan has you using plywood, and attaching strips of Oak to cover the edges. I prefer solid stock, so I changed that part. I looked over the plan, turned the paper over and drew my own. I later used it to start the fire that burned the scraps. I'm sure there are good plans on this site, and in the magazine that are helpful to any skill level. This is not one of them.
