Works ok for me.
WoodRiver Universal Pen Tube Insertion Tool
I used a gel super glue on the brass tube and rotated it as I inserted it into the pen blank. Do this in one smooth non-stop motion. Let it sit in place for 10-15 seconds before you try to remove the tool. If the super glue has hardened enough so that the tube doesn't rotate then you should be able to now release the tool and withdraw it easily without the tube moving.
Wipe any residual glue off the tool and you're ready for the next use.
For me this is better than using a dowel because there's much less chance of gluing it into your pen blank.

not worth the money
I found that the insertion tool tends to grab the tube and pull it back out when you glue the tubes in the blank, I'm better off with either a tapered dowel or just my fingers to put in tube and use part of a wooden skewer to spread the CA glue inside the blank and have the pointed end to push the tube if need be further into the blank.

Not worth the money
There is no way to keep the pen tube in place after placing it there.
Nice insertion tool
Nice general purpose insertion tool.
Save you money
The tool does not have a way to eject the tube once properly inserted in the blank. It tends to pull the tube back out of the blank. You might as well use a tapered dowel.
