Comments about General Finishes, Water Based Dye, Vintage Cherry, Quart :

This was my first time using a water based dud, and this resulted in the best finish I have ever put on one of my pieces of furniture. More care is required in using water based as opposed to oilbased for an even distribution, but with a little practice I was able to over come this with superior results. You will experience some raising of the wood grain due to the water base, but this will be overcome through sanding on subsequent sanding. I will certainly use again.
