Great gift for son-in-law
WoodRiver Guide Rail 4' x 8' Kit
Son-in-law loves it. It was far better than the one he requested for his birthday

Good product good service I woud order from them if I need anything else.
Heavy duty guide
Strong well built straight edge system with integrated clamps. I have used a cheaper straight edge that you get from the "big box" store for years. This guide is much better. The integrated clamps really save time, and stay out of the way of your cutting tool.
You have to place the guide offset from your cutline. I use combination square, or custom made "story stick" to quickly set the offset. No problem.
The only problem (one star off for this) is the plastic ends pop out VERY easily. The first time I picked up the tool, the clamps slid down, popped out the plastic, and went right on the floor. GRAB THE CLAMP FIRST solves the problem, but it would be nice if the ends would hold them in.

I think it should improve the graphic description of the product, in this case the kit as one tends to think that the offer includes all the items that appear on the right side of your website. For the rest the tool is very good and covers all my expectations.
Time saver at it's best!
ANY and all
A little too flexible on long cuts
I watched the video which stated that it was very rigid and bought it at the local Woodcraft. Guess what? It isn't that rigid. My first 8 foot cut with a jigsaw was pretty curvy. Should track better with the circular saw. It flexes too much. Other than that it works well. The clamping system is tight and out of the way.

It's a pleasure to cut plywood
It does what it says
It is pretty straight forward. I primarily use it to rip plywood since I don't own a table saw and it improved my line cutting tremendously.
Works pretty well
The rail connector mechanism could align the rails more securely. There
was a small tendency for it to come loose. I'd like to see a more positive
locking mechanism (using a cam perhaps). Of course, since there are no instructions, it is possible that I was doing something wrong. In the end, I cross braced the join between the rails to prevent absolutely any side movement, which worked well.
I buy many small items that are needed for my customers. [...] I have a small custom and furniture repair shop which prohibitives me from paying to much as I must pass it on to the customer.
