This 5-5/8" try square has a blued steel blade triple pinned to the handle. A 1/8" thick brass rub plate protects the inside face for accurate readings. Try squares are primarily used to measure the accuracy of a right angle.

    A square is a square. I bought it to find square on my bandsaw table because it was the perfect length. However, I wish it had inch marks for other tasks it could be used for.
