Comments about WoodRiver Parallel Clamp Blocks, Set of 4 :

Because of the oblong shape, one set of clamps is always too far out for cabinet bases. These are meant for doors and anything else that is square. They work for doors ... barely.. But for a skirt on a chest, they move the clamps too far in, and cause the skirt to bend in.. The bessey's are square and don't do this. I have 2 sets... what a waste of money.

Comments about WoodRiver Parallel Clamp Blocks, Set of 4 :

I bought these because I needed to build up my clamp supply and thought parallel clamps were the way to go and you can't beat the price. But the first time you get glue on the serrations/notches on the bar, might as well throw them away. The dried glue makes it very difficult to slide the head back and forth on the bar and it makes it more trouble than it's worth. I'm going to replace each one I bought with Bessey or Jorgenson. Now I see why they've been discontinued.

Wish the slot was a bit wider so some of my generic clamps would fit. A bit of sandpaper and a file fixed that though

Comments about WoodRiver Parallel Clamp Blocks, Set of 4 :

These might be okay in a larger shop where you would be doing multiple glue ups and are able to secure these in a permanent location. In my small shop I can't dedicate the area for this.
