Comments about Hunter #6 Carbide Hollowing Tool :

This is a heavy handled solid tool that allows minimum vibration even with a fairly long reach over the tool rest. I generally use the cutter rubbing on the bevel tipped at about 45 degrees and needed to file small flats near the tip to keep it from tipping over when it encountered a hard spot in highly figured wood. With the filed flats, it is a go-to-tool when others are causing tearout or vibration.
