Product Information:

Blades with 'hook' following the tooth number per inch (TPI) are resaw blades: with a .025" thickness, versus standard blade thickness of .032", they slice through stock more efficiently while consuming less wood in the process.

Olson All Pro Bandsaw Blades have a tooth hardness of Rc 62-64, with a tempered back to aid stiffness and increase cut accuracy. Raker set teeth (every third tooth is unset) are best suited to cutting wood, plastic and nonferrous metal. The blades are designed for heavy-duty use in furniture manufacturing, as well as fine woodworking and craft work. Blade formulation contains pinpoint carbides, molybdenum, chrome and silicon, with a molecular structure that gives great metallurgical consistency for superior welds and sharpness retention.

  • Super hard edge
  • 111" long, 5/8" wide, 3 TPI hook tooth blade
  • Use with hard/soft wood, exotic hardwoods
  • For all vertical/stationary two-wheel bandsaws
  • Durable, controllable, tough, and shock resistant

Comments about Olson All Pro Bandsaw Blade 111" x 5/8" x 3 TPI Hook Tooth :

I have a Rikon 14in. deluxe band saw that uses 111-in. long blades. I had never tried resawing before now but was wanting to cut a lot of thick walnut stock into thinner boards. I ordered the Olson All-Pro 5/8-in blade, installed it, set the blade tension and fence for drift, and was cutting thinner boards from thick stock effortlessly. I was able to cut as thin as I wanted. And to my surprise the cuts were quite smooth and only a few passes with a hand plane was necessary to clean up the face cuts. This 5/8-in wide blade has the needed strenth to handle resawing, and the 3-TPI hook tooth design cuts aggressively. The blade was very sharp and had no tendency to wander or lead. I am very happy with this blade.
