It worked great for my project. It could use another leg bend to keep the pin and marker parallel.

Very well thought out product. Able to accurately scribe a countertop to fit the wall. Much easier than your typical dime store compass. The onboard pencil sharpener is a nice touch.

    Comments about AccuScribe Pro :

Used this to scribe my worktops to the wall. Better than trying to get a piece of scrap that fits the largest gap. The joints are sticky, hopefully will get better as I use it. Definitely better than old way I was taught - using your fingers. Don't get splinters any more. The sharpener is OK but not really needed. If it could be made for "carpenters' pencils" then I think it would be a 4.5 or 5.

    Comments about AccuScribe Pro :

Does not move smoothly even when finger nuts are loosend, Pencil not well positioned, worse thing is, the pin to keep the thing on your base point always jumps out of place, not very good for small holes. The locking part to keep pin in is just a plastic slot and does not hold tight. By a good compass you will be better of, get what you payfor, this plastic tool is way over priced.

the idea of this is great - works as described - just wish it was made of aluminum or some type of metal other than plastic The plastic body makes it feel cheap for the price it does the job
