A GREAT SET OF STONES
GLEN BURNIE MARYLAND
Arkansas Stone Boxed Set, 3 piece
I CARRY MY SET OF STONES WITH ME TO THE JOB FOR HONING MY PLANE BLADES AND CHISELS. I ALSO CARRY EXTRA HONING OIL BECAUSE THE SAMPLE INCLUDED WITH THE STONES RAN OUT FAST. THE SET IS GREAT BUT TOP NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. I CURRENTLY USE A MINI BUNGEE CORD TO HOLD IT ON. THE PRICE WAS GREAT.

Nice Set of Stones
Shack the Handayman
Marana, AZ USA
This is a nice set of sharpening stones for anyone who likes to do it by hand. I use these for sharpening my turning tools after grinding them.
Storage box is rather cheep. Lid is not attached and slides off by just tapping it. Easy to add you own hinges, latch, and dividers to protect the stones.
to sharpen carving tools
For avid knife shapeners
The product was exactly what was stated a little disappointed in the construction of the box. The lid could have some small hinges attached and the plastic insert to hold the stones and oil was kind of cheesy. Overall it was a nice Christmas gift for the knife sharpener in your family, plus the engraving was a nice touch.
Good stones but difficult for a novice
Greg in StJo
The use of each stone, its grit, neither are explained. The box is poorly designed as the lid will not stay on, nor capture and protect the stones. These stones are brittle and need a better casing.
