Comments about Jasper Circle Jig, Medium, 7" - 18-1/16" :

I purchased the Jasper Circle Jig to expedite the process of cutting out openings for speaker enclosures. After taking about a minute or two to read the manual and about 3 minutes to attach it to my "Vintage" spare Craftsman Router, I was cutting perfect openings in about a fourth of the time I used to spend with a template and a Jigsaw. I was surprised to find that it mounted to an older model router with no trouble and even though I'll leave it mounted to my spare router, it's simple to remove and reinstall. When it's not being used it's 13" x 6 1/2" size make it small enough to easily stow it away with your owner's manuals. It's approximately 1/4" thick and is made of durable PVC plastic, comes with nearly all the hardware that you'll need to mount it to your router and includes a 1/4" "dummy bit" and calibration insert to make installation and accurate setup time a breeze. It's set to easily cut out anything from a 7" to a 18 3/16" hole in 16th inch increments and it's as easy as driving a brad into the center of the opening you plan to make, line it up and cut your hole!
