Product Information:

Connector bolts are knock-down hardware used with cross dowels, connector nuts, or any common 1/4"-20 nut. These steel bolts feature large, 11/16" diameter bevel edged heads for extra surface support and low profile design. Black oxide finish. Requires metric M4 hex wrench for installation. This bolt is 3" long; the first 1-1/2" is threaded. Bag of 10.

    The 3" bolts I ordered had a 3 1/4 inch shaft length, which is 1/4" too long for my project. Looks like I will have to return these.

    Some of the bolts are apparently made by different companies. A 2 inch bolt made by one company has a shorter useable thread length. I had to buy additional longer bolts and cut them. A 2 inch bolt may not have a useable 2 inch length.
