Flexcut Palm Tool 70 Degree V - 1/4"
I am a woodcut artist and carve all types of wood daily, from basswood to hard maple, cherry being my favorite. I have a large collection of carving chisels and knives, Japanese, Swiss and Flexcut. The Flexcut tools are the ones I grab most often; they carve flawlessly, come sharp and ready to go, are easy to hone and re-sharpen, hold edge long and well.
But the number one reason I continue to buy and use my Flexcut knives is that they are very comfortable on the hand. Many of my projects are done on cherrywood and require long hours of intricate carving on a daily basis.
Flexcut handle is the most comfortable and the blade flexes just enough to "give" a tad and make carving tight curves effortless.
I own four sets, mini, micro, standard and palm, as well as many other replacement knives. I will put my Flexcut up by the best Japanese carving knives.
