If you are going to make raised panel doors, Whiteside’s large 2-wing and 3-wing bits are the way to go. All of these bits have 1/2” shanks. The 2-wing bits have 3-1/4” diameters while the 3-wings’ diameters are 3-3/8”. Both the 2-wing and 3-wing bits have massive carbide cutters. The 3-wing cutters produce such a smooth profile that the piece requires little to no sanding. If you would like to cut the front reveal and back cut at the same time, try Whiteside's 2-Wing bits with the Back Cutters. Whiteside recommends running all of these bits at 10,000 to 12,000 RPMs and that you make three passes when routing out the panels. Available in:
