If you are looking for something unique, try Mango wood (Mangifera spp.). It is a “green” product since it is a fast growing, sustainable wood that is initially grown for its juicy fruit. However, once the tree grows over 90', it will cease to produce fruit, and at this point the grower can cut the tree down. Mango wood color can range from light golden blond to a deep, dark brown. Native to Costa Rica.
