Aluminum Oxide grinding wheels are made from granulated aluminum oxide with a vitrified bond which permits the surface to fracture under use, constantly refreshing the cutting surface. This means faster grinding and more importantly, cooler grinding. If you’re a turner, these wheels are a must. Pink wheels are a little harder than the white, so they are more resistant to grooving and will require less dressing.
