Bought eight Cabinet Master clamps three years ago. Out of the eight, three have already been replaced. Jorgensen uses too much plastic in areas where there shouldn't be any. While these clamps are good for the beginner, I would recommend the Bessey clamps 'hands-down' over these. My experiences with the Bessey clamps has been much more favorable. Save your money and by the Bessey clamps when your able.

These are the best bar-clamps out there. I have a 60" one (saving up to buy more) and the construction is top quality. It is heavy and industrial. Bessey clamps can't compare to Jorgensen. I actually had a Bessy bar clamp and the cheap plastic head cracked so I returned it and got the Jorgensen...and never looked back. They are a piece of art. I hope they never change.

I have various Bessey K-body REVO clamps (made in Germany) and some equivalent Craftsman 40" parallel bar clamps (also made in Germany and nearly identical to the Besseys). I actually like the fit, finish, and heft of these American made Jorgensen's a little more than the others. All are good clamps, but the Jorgensens have more steel in the clamp heads and they are heavier. But my bias is also towards the Jorgensens because I have racks of orange bar clamps and I like to buy good quality American made products when I can.
