The new JDS Air-Tech HP delivers power, convenience, efficient filtration, and state-of-the-art design—all at an affordable price. The powerful 1/3 HP motor, combined with the composite blower wheel, delivers 1,255 max CFM and 916 CFM of filter air! This will clean a 35' x 35' x 7.5' shop in 10 minutes! This new, stronger motor has thermal overload protection and consumes only four amps of power. That’s pennies per day to operate!

The Air-Tech HP has tool free filter change that is quick and easy. The first stage filter is a washable electrostatic filter that has a 10-year warranty. This filter has a $50 value and comes as standard equipment with the Air-Tech HP. The second stage captures 99% of particles as small as five microns and 91% of particles as small as one micron in size. The final filter is the diffusing filter. The unique design of the Air-Tech HP cabinet allows for a mixing chamber which enables the exiting air to be dispersed across the entire surface area of the diffusing filter. This feature is important in creating the proper airflow patterns necessary for trapping microscopic dust in your shop. The back of the cabinet also has a door that can be opened to allow an optional charcoal filter to be installed. By installing the optional charcoal filter “downstream” from the particulate trapping filters, only clean air passes through the charcoal filter, which enhances the performance and extends the life of the activated charcoal.

    This unit is very effective in my approx. 34X24 work shop. It does take 2 people to safely hang this box due to its size more so than weight. Everything about it down to the hole in the back of the remote so you can hang it is great. The only thing that may bother some is it is a tad bit loud, but I can deal with that becuase it works great. I wish I had bought this JDS the first time around.

    flip the red control button to remote to use remote control which is radio controlled, for setting speed, and length of run time, or run manually with same switch and it runs on high until you manually shut it down

    I installed one unit in the center of my 20 x 25 x 9 ft workspace, hanging from S hooks and chains (not included) with bottom of the unit about 7.5 ft above the floor. fine dust was so bad, it would coat my glasses. After about 2 hrs run time, no more dust on my glasses. And the charcoal filter cleaned the air. This unit includes a washable electrostatic filter, a charcoal filter and a pocketed dust collection filter. The instructions indicate a toggle on off switch, as well as a remote rocker switch. It took me a little while to see that the remote rocker switch has 3 positions "on, off and remote" and now the remote works right when I have the red switch at the "remote" position; if I did not have this confusions, it would have gotten 5 stars. Now that I have written this review, anyone who reads it and buys the unit should be able to give it 5 stars.
