Great saw. Assembly was straight forward, I did need some help getting the bolts to line up when installing the motor and table. They were too heavy to lift by myself *and* insert the bolts. The table is lower than I prefer so I made a 5 inch lift and put the saw on that. This made the table the right height and did not impact any of the other controls, etc. The table height issue is the biggest reason I did not give this th efull 5 stars. I graduated from a 12 inch underpowered benchtop saw to this so, the differences are great. The saw cuts like a dream. Resawing Maple and Walnut has be great. The blade guides really shine when re-sawing. What a difference both in the accuracy of the cut and the depth of cut supported. Love the saw, well worth the cost.

Laguna has vidios on their web site to show how to set up the machine if you get one take a look they make it real easy to set up. the people at woodcraft were the best they answer all your question it's the best machine I have every used.

Great saw, plenty of power, easy to adjust. Things like the upper blade guard could use a little improvement but is functional. The tool bracket could also be moved slightly so it doesn't interfere with the power switch. [...]
