That’s a lot of words for a set of muffs, but these protect your hearing with loads of options. They have an NNR 24 rating with four modes of operation: completely passive, electronic enhanced with cutout or clipping, electronic enhanced noise compression, and a communication mode with a jack plus two accessory cords so you can listen to an MP3 player or plug in a communication device. They also feature six powerful white LED forward facing headlights (three on each ear cup) and two red LED rearward facing taillights (two on each ear cup) which can be used as all on, rear only on, or forward only on. We found the forward facing lights very useful in our shop and around the house. Muffs can be used in a standard over-the-head configuration or behind the neck with the included neckband. Comes with a wire belt clip and instructions. Requires 4 AA batteries, two for electronic options and two for lights (not included).
