Make all the carrages first. Dry fit the wheels and axles and then disassemble and make the rest of the train. Included are lots of ways to add detail or make it simple. Templates are not true size. Measure everything before cutting. If you are willing to work around the glitches in the plan it is worth doing. My grandson really loves it.
