I have built my own router table that is capable routing 5 "wooden beams, for example: routing table legs. With capaple I mean that these Jessem fingerbouards fit on top of the 5'' wooden beams into the T track. They fit firmly into the the track when you turn the knobs and do not wobble or come loose. I can keep this size of wood beams under the Jessem finger boards. They press the workpiece firmly on the table top and they are easy adjustable and also reversable that makes the it posible to double the height that fit under the fingerboards. so you can easily adjust the height with the 2 screws. You can even stack them together, that doubles the width. In my case it's perfect for my application. My advice is to buy more than one set. This saves you the trouble of converting single to double. This is the only down side of this product you actualy need more than one set. If you have chairs with curved legs for example, these finger boards may come in handy. On my router table I use these boards in the double finger config to keep my workpiece paper flat on the table and keep it as along the pattern cutter bit to maintain control. You do not have your fingers to come near the bit, and you're sure that your work piece continues to run perpendicular to the router bit and not tip over and ruin your workpiece. Great product.

These are better than most featherboards, they lock in place on the machine and then are ajustable with separate knobs.

Works as advertised and is well made. It does make it easier to change tension without having to worry about alignment. Just wish it was a little easier to reverse the feather direction.
